Creatively titled Not The Messiah (He’s A Very Naughty Boy), based on The Life of Brian, which observes Brian, an averse innovatory who is promptly mistaken for a messiah and eventually put to death to the sounds of one of the most popular songs by Monty Python, Always Look On The Bright Side of Life.
Not The Messiah at the Royal Albert Hall
This European musical premier of the Not The Messiah is scheduled to be held for one night only at the Royal Albert Hall, an appropriate grand arena for a musical that deals with the Romans, the messiahs, a naughty boy and crucifixions. The entire venue will be filled with the sound of the BBC Orchestra and Chorus, conducted by long-time Monty Python song writer and collaborator, John Du Prez.
